Obsessions

This photograph is special, because it starts my path into Conceptual Photography. It was also awarded many times and it help me to be more courageous about following my heart.
This photograph reflects the obsessions often manifested in Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
A common expression of the condition is the compulsion to repeatedly touch objects.
Since I personally struggle with OCD, I wanted to recreate this experience through my art—
as a way to better understand it, and perhaps, to begin freeing myself from its grip.
