About Me.
My name is Maria Georgieva. I was born and raised in Bulgaria. Photography has been with me since early childhood. I have always been in love with nature. Waking up before dawn to witness the sunrise is an indescribable kind of magic—one that must be experienced, not explained.
Over the years, I’ve explored many genres of photography and walked through countless personal and artistic trials. But after a long journey of searching, one truth became clear to me: I want my art to touch people. To help. To make the viewer pause, reflect, and feel. I want my work to raise more questions than it answers. To reveal depth. To show what lies beyond what we call “reality.”
Every project I create is driven by a personal wound, a shared story, or a pressing social issue. Through my photography, I ride a great inner carousel—one that helps me understand myself better, explore the world more deeply, and, at least in some small way, begin to heal both myself and others.
My mission and purpose in life is to help others through my art.
