INNER SABOTEUR

There is always something that pulls us back, and in most cases, that "something" is ourselves. This thought was not in my head while I was shooting this scene. This scene simply appeared in my mind while I was walking with a friend along the beautiful river in our city. I decided to stop and capture it. It took me a while to realize that at that moment I felt lost, I wanted to develop, create, and move forward to new horizons, but something kept stopping me and pulling me back. At that moment, looking at the photo, I realized that this is exactly what I had recreated. My higher self took care to express everything that was in me, without me realizing it at that moment. The time between the two photos was almost a year. And the second photo was inspired by a book cover and the quote "And he came to himself." The two in combination prompted me to create an image that shows the light within us, despite all the darkness that surrounds us. The two photographs, then combined together - show a process of the soul, a journey from a state of stupor to a state of flight.
